Rep. Ed Markey released the following statement today after receiving the endorsement of the United Steelworkers (USW) District 4:

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Steelworkers, who are tireless fighters for workers across the Commonwealth. I’ve taken on fights in Congress to create the kinds of jobs that will make Massachusetts a leader in green manufacturing, and in the Senate I will fight for higher wages, quality affordable healthcare and a level playing field for all workers.”
