Springfield, MA – Rep. Ed Markey (D-Malden) continued his campaign launch this afternoon with stops at local restaurants in Worcester and Springfield. Ed visited with supporters and discussed his upcoming campaign, his commitment to creating good paying jobs and fighting for the progressive values that he shares with Massachusetts voters.
“I will bring passion and energy to take on the most important priorities facing Massachusetts families,” said Markey this morning. “I will ask for every vote and organize every precinct throughout the state. I look forward to continuing to meet with voters and building a grassroots movement.”
Today’s conversations with local voters and activists followed a packed house for Ed’s official campaign kickoff earlier today at the YMCA in his hometown of Malden.
Ed’s kick-off tour will continue tomorrow with local leaders and voters in New Bedford and at a Super Bowl party in Dorchester.
