Petition: Traditional Medicare, NO Vouchers

The budget introduced by Paul Ryan and passed by the Tea Party-controlled House of Representatives is flat wrong.

The Ryan Plan would end Medicare as we know it, line the pockets of big insurance companies, and cut everything from early-childhood education to green energy research.

Ed is fighting back, and won’t give in to the Tea Party Republicans’ radical agenda. Join Ed and soundly reject the Ryan Plan.

The Ryan Plan is not a blueprint for a strong middle class — it is an ideological, extreme wishlist for Big Oil and other special interests that undercuts our seniors, entrepreneurs, and the middle class.

I reject the Ryan Plan, and I’m calling on you to pass a budget that strengthens and protects Medicare.
