APPLY FOR THE MARKEY DEMOCRATIC COORDINATED FALL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
2014 is a big year for Democrats across the country and there’s a lot at stake here in Massachusetts. We need to re-elect Senator Ed Markey to the US Senate, we have an important race to elect the next governor of our state and we need to protect our Democratic seats in Congress.
Whether you’re a student who wants to be at the center of the action on a political campaign, retired and hoping to volunteer in your community, or anyone in between, the Markey Democratic Coordinated Fellowship Program is for you. We’re relying on energetic and passionate people from across Massachusetts to help re-elect Senator Markey and ensure Democratic victory this November.
Last year, fellows were the backbone of our effort to elect then-Congressman Ed Markey to the United States Senate in a special election for John Kerry’s seat. This year, fellows will prove to be a vital part of 2014 Massachusetts Democratic Coordinated Campaign.
Fellows will receive in-person training from the leading organizing experts in Massachusetts and work to build the 2014 operation for the Democratic Coordinated Campaign. Fellows will be trained in community, digital and field organizing and briefed on the campaign’s messaging and overall strategy. Working in cities and towns across Massachusetts, the fellowship will provide hands-on experience and intensive training on campaign organizing.
This fellowship will be an excellent fit for people interested in a career in politics as well as people who are interested in volunteering to engage their communities.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so apply today! There’s too much at stake on Capitol Hill and on Beacon Hill to wait.
Please note, the fellowship program takes place in Massachusetts.
