Demand Republicans Act to Reduce Gun Violence

The NRA and their Republican allies in Congress would have you believe we’re powerless to stop gun violence in America.

It’s not true.

Here are just a few things we can do immediately to reduce violence and institute common sense gun safety measures:

• Pass Ed’s bill to require smart gun technology and make guns more secure.
• Ban assault weapons meant to be used in combat, not in communities.
• Close loopholes in our laws that allow guns to make it into the wrong hands.
• Expand and strengthen background checks.
• Remove gun manufacturers’ immunity from civil liability.
• Pass Ed’s bill to study gun violence as the epidemic it is, and find the most effective ways to stop it
