The United States Must Lead The Way

This month, hundreds of nations gathered in Paris for the groundbreaking global conference on climate change. We discussed many challenges and possible solutions at the Paris conference. But I can tell you: The fact that climate change is real was never up for discussion.

The United States can and should lead the way on this effort. But when Congressional Republicans like GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz continue to deny that the problem even exists, they hold us back and deny our nation’s history of always leading on great challenges.
