Now's the Time!

Since the tragedy at Newtown, there has been a fierce debate over gun policy in America.

On one side there’s the NRA, “No Restrictions Allowed,” pushing for no universal background checks, no ban on assault weapons, and no action on sensible policy.

On the other, Ed Markey, President Obama, and fellow progressives pushing for common-sense solutions to reduce gun violence.

Show Congress where you stand. Tell Congress to take action on reducing gun violence immediately!

Attention members of Congress,

Now is the time to take action.

It’s been months since the tragedy at Newtown. It’s time we enforce stricter background checks, stop assault weapons from hitting our streets, and took strides toward reducing gun violence in this country.

All of these proposals deserve a vote — and I’m urging you to give them one immediately.
