Why I’m with Ed

I’m with Ed because he supports causes that are important to me, including protecting a woman’s right to choose and safeguarding our environment. He is a champion for the vulnerable, and his vision for MA is one of progress and hope.

I support Ed because of his work to protect the environment, his consistent support of LGBT and women’s rights, and his stance on keeping knives off airplanes!

I support Ed because… he has demonstrated leadership in critical environmental issues for decades as well as leadership in nuclear nonproliferation. A strong supporter of women’s rights, a women’s right to choose, equal pay, Ed would make a perfect complementary partner to Elizabeth Warren in the Senate, where he would effectively become the Senate’s expert on environmental issues.

I’m with Ed for his national leadership on the environment, nuclear energy, green jobs, assault weapons, women’s issues, privacy, net neutrality, and affordable health care. He has courage and vision and refuses to back down to special interests. To top it off, he’s just a nice guy!

I support Ed because… his vision for the future includes a skilled economy in science and tech and where women have the right to choose and same-sex marriage is legal.

I support Ed because he supports equal rights for all Americans regardless of race, gender, disability or sexual orientation. I support Ed’s plans to develop our educational system to compete with the rest of the world and to reform our energy policy to conserve resources and limit our dependency on foreign fossil fuels. And I support Ed because after several decades in Congress, he has cultivated a record of bipartisanship and productivity while remaining focused on his constituents’ needs. He’s the right man for the job.

I support Ed because of his leadership in environmental issues, equality and women’s rights.

I support Ed because he supports President Obama’s healthcare reform act. I am a recent cancer survivor at the young age of 28 and without this healthcare reform act, I would be considered a “pre-existing condition” and I wouldn’t have affordable or any healthcare. So thank you Ed Markey for standing up and voting with our President! My well being depended on your vote.

I support Ed because… he supports me! He’s there representing my interests in Congress, working non-stop to make sure my air is clear, my water is clean and my children can grow up in a healthy environment.

I support Ed because he is committed to improving the lives of our most impoverished citizens, firmly supports healthcare for all US citizens, and has been a consistent leader for women’s rights and climate change.
